Depending on your ISP it can take anywhere from 24-48 hours. Is there anyway I can work on my site before the DNS propagates?? Yes. If you would like to upload your site before the DNS propagates please change your primrary DNS server on your local machine to 216.127.78.166 . In windows this is in Start, Control Panel , Network connections , Properties . Once this is done you will be able to work on your site before the DNS has propagated!!
